You book me, and I’m the one behind the booth

Most couples do not remember the DJ. They remember whether the night felt right — whether the grand entrance landed, whether the dance floor filled after dinner, whether anything felt awkward on the microphone. That is the job.

I’m Rey Morales — DJ Reymo — owner of Timeless DJ Productions. When you book a wedding with me, I am the DJ on the day. Not a name on a proposal who sends someone else. The person who builds your run of show is the person behind the booth running it.

I cover weddings across Essex, Hudson, Bergen, Passaic, and Union counties, plus New York City and destination events. Every wedding starts with a planning call and a detailed intake form, so by the time the day arrives your coordinator, photographer, and videographer are all working from the same timeline.

I am bilingual. If your guest list runs English, Spanish, or both, announcements and music are handled in either language without the night losing momentum.

What a wedding booking covers

Ceremony

Prelude, processional, and recessional music. Wireless lav or handheld for the officiant and readings so vows are heard clearly.

Cocktail Hour

A separate sound setup in the cocktail space, tuned for conversation. No dead air between rooms.

Reception

Grand entrance, first dance, parent dances, toasts, cake cutting, and open dancing — all cued and announced.

MC Add-On

A dedicated bilingual MC for hosting and announcements. English, Spanish, or both. Quoted separately.

Uplighting

Room wash in your wedding colors. Transforms a plain ballroom before guests walk in.

Production Add-Ons

LED wall, dance floor lighting, cold sparklers, dancing-on-clouds, and Hora Loca available on request.

How the planning works

Booking is straightforward. We start with a short call to talk through your date, venue, guest count, and the feel you are going for. From there you get two package options in writing — no pressure, no hidden line items.

We also carry full liability insurance and can issue a certificate of insurance naming your venue as additional insured — most New Jersey venues require it, and we handle that paperwork directly with your venue coordinator.

Common Questions

How far in advance should we book a wedding DJ?

Most couples book nine to eighteen months out. Popular Saturdays in September, October, and June go first. If your date is closer than that, it is still worth checking — we hold a limited number of weddings per weekend and dates do open up.

Do you provide an MC as well as a DJ?

I am the DJ, not the MC. For hosting and announcements I bring in a dedicated bilingual MC from our roster, quoted separately as an add-on. Plenty of couples want a real host on the microphone rather than a DJ splitting attention between the booth and the mic.

Can you handle a bilingual wedding?

Yes. We regularly run weddings in English, Spanish, or both. You choose which language leads and we alternate announcements so no side of the family is left out.

Do you provide music for the ceremony and cocktail hour?

Yes. Ceremony and cocktail hour are separate sound setups from the reception. They can be added to any package.

What happens if equipment fails during the reception?

We bring backup gear to every wedding — a redundant controller, spare speakers, spare cables, and backup music libraries stored locally rather than streamed. Nothing depends on venue wifi.

Will you take song requests from guests?

That is your call. Some couples want an open request policy, some want requests filtered against their preferences, and some want us to stick strictly to the planned list. We follow whatever you decide.

Do you travel for destination weddings?

Yes. We cover destination weddings in Miami, the Caribbean, Mexico, and Europe. Travel and lodging are quoted separately.
